Soundboards: All soundboards used are aged and Master grade. In particular Mr. Filippidis likes to use Adirondack Red Spruce, German Spruce, Sitka Spruce, and Western Red Cedar.

Bowls: All bowls are handmade. Mr. Filippidis prefers to use rare woods such as Peruvian Walnut, Claro Walnut, Maylasian Blackwood, East indian Rosewood, Brazilian Rosewood, Curly Koa, Curly Maple, etc. All woods are hand selected to be quartersawn, aged and extremely figured. He prefers to keep an amazing piece of exotic hardwood simple with minimal decoration but he also produces fully decorated bowls with any design upon request.

Decorations: Decorations can be made of acrylics, wood veneers, and natural shell.
